Community & outreach

How kids, classrooms, and radio listeners helped shape North Woods.

We’re a small, local business with big roots in the community. From partnering with a 5th grade classroom to teaming up with local radio, these are a few of the ways we stay connected to the people we serve.

Garage doors through a child’s eyes

We asked a local 5th grade class to help us design print ads for North Woods Overhead Doors. The results were clever, funny, and surprisingly on point — proof that even kids understand how important a working garage door can be.

Here are a few of our favorite pieces of artwork and the taglines they came up with.

Broadcasting better service

We’re also proud to partner with Bruce McKirdy and Hubbard Radio to bring North Woods Overhead Doors to the local airwaves. Bruce has a knack for spots that feel like a neighbor talking to you in the driveway: memorable, down-to-earth, and a little bit fun.

That’s exactly how we want our service to feel, too. If you’ve heard one of our radio messages and thought, “Hey, my door does that,” you’re exactly who we had in mind.
