Do you charge a trip fee for service calls?
No — we don’t charge a trip fee when you book a service with us. The only exception is if we arrive and another supplier is already on-site. We haven’t billed for that yet, but we may in the future to cover lost time and travel.
Do you repair broken garage door springs?
Yes. We replace and adjust torsion and extension springs quickly and safely. Most repairs can be completed the same day across Northern Minnesota.
Do you install commercial garage doors and openers?
Absolutely. We install and service heavy-duty commercial doors and openers for auto shops, warehouses, and local businesses — plus residential systems for homes and cabins.
Which areas do you service?
We proudly serve Cass, Crow Wing, Beltrami, and Itasca counties — and much of Northern Minnesota.
My garage door won’t stay closed or opens by itself — what’s going on?
Common causes are misaligned sensors, shorted wall-button wiring, or interference from nearby remotes. Try cleaning the sensors and checking wiring. If that doesn’t fix it, call Jon at 218-317-3071 and we’ll sort it out.
Can you install smart openers so I can close the door with my phone (or Alexa)?
Yes. We offer quiet, reliable openers with smart control and keyless entry for both homes and businesses. We’ll recommend the right unit for your door size and duty cycle.
I used plywood to “reinforce” the opener header — is that okay?
We love a creative DIY, but for safety and long-term reliability you’ll want a proper header mount and hardware. We’ll secure it the right way so your opener lasts longer.
